AJ’s 2025 clips focus on set pieces: particularly corner kicks and free kicks taken with both feet. Also see defensive headers & tackles.

A true two-footed player

AJ is a versatile utility player. She started her soccer career playing anywhere her coach (dad) asked her to. Over time, she developed as an anchor defensive player, typically the 4 or 6 (centerback or center defensive mid).

When she moved to a new club in 2024, she was asked to play the 9 (striker), because she can spin and shoot with power from both feet and score from outside the box. Her coach said he could always count on “at least a goal a game.” She earned several hat tricks and led her club to top the Gold division.

AJ often practices with big brother Drew (2008), taking corner kicks for him to finish with his head. Their practice together over the years developed AJ’s wicked free kick & corner game. In the past year, she scored 5 Olimpico goals and countless goals off corners.

You’ll find AJ up at 5 a.m. every day to work out with a group of elite high school athletes (football, basketball, soccer, baseball) who are focused on developing the physical and mental ability to play at the collegiate level.

AJ currently plays for:

  • Portland City United G10 Red 1 (winner: Las Vegas Mayor's Cup, 2025)

  • Washington Premier League academy (state select)

  • Ridgefield HS (in tryouts)

AJ is also a 4th-year soccer referee.
